Given the complexity and that it's literally evolved as a "genetic algorithm" over eons, you can't really control it but it certainly helps me to have a framework to think about it, and it's helped my self-improvement efforts.<br><br>If you're interested in the topic, the definitive book in, uh, my book is Marvin Minsky's Society of Mind as I mention above.
